Who played bass drum in the Boys Brigade?

Boys Brigade drummer at 4 Meads Lane – I’m thinking this might have been Alf?
I'm reasonably sure my mum said that all the boys were in the Boys Brigade, but not sure whether that would have been at the same time or not. In either case it is entirely possible all 3 are in this picture

  2. I have happy memories of Alf. I remember him taking Rene and I to the cinema. Rene and I would weep at the sad bits and it got on his nerves! I remember one time he got up and sat on his own on the other side of the cinema!
